Personal Success

The simple way of meditating will gradually still your mind and awaken attention in the Now, making you more aware of what is going on in the present moment

The practice of meditation is usually not considered to be a practical way to achieve success.

It has been taught for centuries as a means for spiritual growth and enlightenment.

But certain forms of meditation practice are among the best kept success secrets.

In fact, it can be accurately stated that there is no way to be as successful as you can be WITHOUT practicing meditation.

One kind of meditation practice that is really a form of success training is all about calming, focusing and AWAKENING the mind.

Practicing this form of meditation for personal success could not be simpler: Simply direct the focus of your attention to the present moment.

That’s really all there is to it.  Keep your attention PRESENT for as long as you can.

This simple way of meditating will gradually still your mind and awaken attention in the Now, making you more aware of what is going on in the present moment.

This heightened state of awareness can help you to succeed and prosper because whatever you are aware of you can increase your control over.

The more aware you are, the more control you have over the direction of your life.

As your mind clears and calms, you will find that you are able to communicate more effectively, problem-solve more easily and to feel less stressed out.

And you will delight in the restful and exhilarating experience of a more clear and alert state of awareness.

Take just 15 or 30 seconds to focus attention on your present moment experience several times a day to feel more rested, refreshed and inspired – you’ll be more productive when you get back to your work and you’ll have more energy when you return home from work.

You can practice this form of meditation for success while you are active and while you are inactive.

Reserving special periods during the day for inactive practice will bring about greater results most quickly.

Great times to engage in the success practice of this form of meditation is first thing in the morning, before you begin any other activity. Sit or lie down and keep attention focused on your present moment experience for at least a minute.

Another excellent time for meditating in this way is while you are lying in bed at night, waiting for sleep to descend.  As you head into your dreams, you will be advancing along the road to success.

But don’t wait for special periods to practice.  Do it anytime, including while you are driving, waiting on line, standing in the elevator, eating, or playing with your kids.

The more you practice the success secret of meditation the more buoyant your daily spirit will be and the more quickly and easily you will achieve the success that you desire.

Success Strategy

Mind-mastery for greater success consists of DIRECTING the thoughts that courses through your mind

What is your success strategy?

Struggling to control external circumstances is probably the most common, failure-producing mistake made by people who are feeling unsuccessful, held back or blocked.

To achieve success at a higher level, including to manifest more prosperity in your life, the quintessential key is to master your mind for more success.

Once your mind is more fully working for you, everything and everyone in your life will work more fully for you!

Mind-mastery for greater success consists of DIRECTING the thoughts that courses through your mind.

The way to more success is not to struggle to control your external circumstances, but by harness more thought power.

Before you can master more of your mind power you need to be more aware of your thought.  Grow more conscious this bypaying closer attention to your thoughts.

Mind power works against you every time you think about something that you hope will NOT happen.

You waste the power of your mind when you allow your thoughts to wander aimlessly into matters that do not help you to manifest more success or achieve your most important goals.

Mind Power As Success Secret

Before you can master more of your mind power you need to be more aware of your thought. Grow more conscious this by paying closer attention to your thoughts.

You allow your mental energy to work counter to your true interests when you think about what other people have done, might do, or may be doing that causes you to feel threatened.

While we worry, for instance, about someone at work is doing something to undermine our success, what ACTUALLY undermines us is dwelling in thoughts about that person doing that to us.

Feeling low self-esteem, feeling inferior or inadequate, weak or incapable in any way is not due to who you truly are – it’s only due to who you THINK you are.

To achieve more success focus think more about the great conditions that you want to manifest.

Be on the alert to notice and go of thoughts associated with the fear of failing and avoid wasting thought-energy in aimless thinking that does not help you to succeed.

Think of yourself succeeding.

The more mind power you devote to success, the more successful you will be.

Personal Development

They remain fully motivated and engaged in goal achievement as they relentlessly seek out new and better ways to be successful.

Some individuals seem to be born “hard wired” for success.

Others need to “program” themselves to succeed with a success strategy that carries them to the “top.”

Either way, the quality “personal success programming” can be gauged by how we handle success.

However well truly successful people might be doing, they remain dedicated to maintaining and even raising their level of accomplishment.

Even while they enjoy the fruits of their labor, they avoid over-indulging, to protect their abilities and drive from a decline.

They remain fully motivated and engaged in goal achievement as they relentlessly seek out new and better ways to be successful.

They access unstoppable power by maintaining good work habits no matter how much financial abundance they manifest.

They remain committed to their ongoing personal development.

A good many of these “success types” have passed through the fires of business failure as well.

But they overcame those bouts with personal defeat by responding pretty much the way they respond to achieving their highest business goals: they maintain their success mindset by maintaining their focus on achieving.

It’s not uncommon for very successful individuals to encounter a profound sense of inner emptiness at some point along the way.

This happens when they have lost their balance by becoming so focused on goal achievement that they overlooked their need to love the journey.

Those who emerge from this “spiritual abyss” learn that working effectively does not require the sacrifice of the joy of living.

They come to realize that they can be successful by maintaining their balance, remaining aware in the present, and honoring their inner, spiritual need for a sense of real meaning in the now.

Whatever your situation in life, you too can be as successful as you want to be, AND fulfilled, by following their BALANCED success strategy.

creative visualization to achieve goals

Every individual has a “true calling” that defines a truly purposeful life for that individual. It defines what you are truly “meant” to do with your life.

We are advised by teachers of the way to success to mentally visualize the results we desire in order to manifest those results in life.

The power of creative visualization to direct events has to do with the fact that the currents of life are ruled by mind power.

In other words, the form or content of your thought determines the conditions of your life.

But there is an important element of the wisdom of success that needs to be honored here, though it is not often discussed in personal development circles.

And it is because this essential element of a true success strategy is left out that many who use the mind power of creative visualization to achieve goals often give up, feeling disappointed and distrustful.

This overlooked element has to do with the unstoppable power of your primary intention for a meaningful life.  This is something you need to discover deep within.  It is not something you can fabricate.

Every individual has a “true calling” that defines a truly purposeful life for that individual.  It defines what you are truly “meant” to do with your life.

While it is nice to visualize health, to think about wealth, to affirm success in this or that endeavor, you generate opposition to your will if you attempt to make anything but your deepest will or ultimate intention your primary focus.

The common reason we make this self-sabotaging mistake is out of fear.  We fear that we must take care of this or that responsibility in our lives BEFORE seeking a life of true meaning.

But at best this results in meaningless success that increases depression as we rise higher in our goal-achievement.

When you connect your consciousness with your deepest sense of a truly meaningful life, and free your mind from negative thinking and self-doubt, you overcome fear and really cannot fail.

To pursue the path of your deepest intention is to live out your heroic potential.

If you have been working on manifesting prosperity, for instance, and still find yourself dealing with frustrating financial constraints, there is no doubt something you want to do with your life that is of higher importance to you.

Stop worrying about money and concentrate on getting connected with your deeper purpose or your higher calling, your feeling or vision of a life of true meaning.

TRUSTING that path of success will attract all the money, and whatever else you need.

More powerful than the power of creative visualization, positive thinking, and verbal affirmation is the energy of your deepest intent.

What are some conditions in your life that YOU have been pursuing, without achieving success?

Would you like free success guidance for getting in touch with your deepest intention?

Positive Quotes For Self Help

The reality is that when one door of opportunity closes, a door leading to greater opportunity always opens

Any self-help success strategy that you can ever try will not prevent you from coming upon disappointment from time to time.
In our efforts to achieve success, we inevitably face let downs, obstacles, set-backs, losses and other forms of difficulty.

Inspirational quotes can help us get through our difficult spots, like this interesting one from Ernest Hemingway:

“… man is not made for defeat. A man can be destroyed but not defeated.”

This quote can ignite that unstoppable power within us that says, “Just keep going, keep at it. Access your power to persevere.”

But we also have to distinguish between a disappointing response to a let down, like getting laid off, being overlooked for a promotion, not getting the job we interview for, and the habitual self-defeating, self-sabotaging mindset of a habitually discouraged attitude.

To avoid what we can call “chronic negativity” we have to be on guard to recognize our current level of motivation and morale, our level of self-confidence and self-esteem.

When you notice a negative attitude like discouragement or despondency setting in, it’s time to take steps to improve your attitude and gain emotional liberation from self-pity.

The reality is that when one door of opportunity closes, a door leading to greater opportunity always opens.

But if we remain stuck in negativity, we attract more difficulty and repel the golden opportunities that want to come our way.

To attract success we need to be emotionally free, alert to the present moment, and fully ready to take action for what we want when our opportunity presents itself, WHICH IT MOST SURELY WILL.

So what we need is more than the inspirational words of wisdom that we find in inspirational quotes, though those can help us to restore and maintain a positive outlook.

To remain steady on the path to success we need self-help ways of assertively working through our emotional darkness, to return into the light of joy, love, and inspiration that attracts success as soon as possible – and ways to remain in successful, positive mindsets as consistently as possible.

Here is a self-help exercise for accomplishing both:

  1. As you inhale, notice your present emotional condition, your mood, your attitude, your feeling state.

  1. As you exhale, imagine what might be happening that would help you to feel better, to feel happier, to feel more inspired, to feel more content and secure.

  1. Repeat this exercise as many times as you like and do it as long as you like.  It is a way to replace discouragement and fear of failure with growing self-confidence and motivation for success.

Please share your results of doing this self-help exercise and share any questions or comments you might have about it and any inspirational quotes that you value, in this blog.
