Worrying and feeling discouraged about your future will not help you one bit.

Positive Thinking

The more clearly and consistently you focus on your goal, and the more effective your action, the more quickly you can succeed.

They certainly are not what we can call “steps to success”!

On the contrary, they distract one’s focus and they drain one’s power, hindering successful action.

So why do people slip into worry and discouragement?

The answer is quite simple: HABIT.

Indulging in feelings of discouragement and insecurity is habitual.

And that habitual pattern may be all that prevents you from successful goal setting and goal accomplishment.

To be successful, one must take goal-directed action.

The more clearly and consistently you focus on your goal, and the more effective your action, the more quickly you can succeed.

But indulging worry and discouragement robs one of power, and less power translates into a more distracted and diffuse focus and weaker, less impactful action.

Understanding that worry and discouragement ARE habitual, and that they DON’T work, is a major step in gaining freedom to achieve your goals and objectives.

To gain that understanding, practice being more conscious of your present attitude.

You will soon recognize that the cause of a negative attitude is not one’s circumstances, but one’s pre-programmed habitual emotional reaction pattern.

Once you see this you have taken the first of 3 powerful steps for success.

The next step is to practice living in a state of peaceful confidence and contentment, particularly when you feel the urge to indulge in feelings of discouragement or insecurity.

Every moment you resist the urge to dwell in a negative emotional state you weaken the habit and strengthen your self-control.

Step three on the road to success is to get engaged in constructive work aimed at accomplishing your most important objective.

Every action you take for what you want builds up a momentum of actively working for it.  This makes it easier for you to continue working, and to work with more focus and power.

You can always take some form and degree of action in line with what you want to accomplish.

Following these 3 steps will bring success and free you from unhappy stress.
