Success Secrets

Pushing too hard to achieve a goal, or even to fulfill a responsibility, works AGAINST us, not FOR us

On the way to success, there is a certain measure of effort that we need to apply.

But we stray from the wisdom of balanced effort when we push ourselves too hard.

After a certain point, based on the laws of success, employing more effort becomes self-sabotaging.

Excessive strain wears us down physically, mentally and emotionally.

Pushing too hard to achieve a goal, or even to fulfill a responsibility, works AGAINST us, not FOR us.

One sign that you are pushing too hard is when you do not enjoy your life in the present, when your positive attitude starts to wane.

When you begin feeling unhappy, hopeless, desperate, burdened, burned out or impatient, you are straying from path of success by pushing too hard.

As human beings we really do need to work hard to feel happy.

But we need to balance effort with healthy relaxation to stay motivated.

Overtaxing yourself with overly strenuous effort works AGAINST healthy, happy, meaningful goal achievement.

The success wisdom of balanced effort can be stated this way:

To work at peak levels of effectiveness we must be enjoying our lives in the now.  This requires working within the healthy limits of strenuous effort that really work FOR us.

To recognize your healthy balance of effort, remain consciously aware of the feelings in your body.

The longer you ignore your body’s feelings, the “louder” those feelings get, until they grow too loud to ignore.

Some sort of physical problem then becomes the body’s way of screaming, “STOP!  EASE UP! SLOW DOWN!”

To avoid this mishap make it part of your success training to practice paying close attention to the feelings in your body.

This will help you stay on success-wisdom path of balanced effort for healthy, happy success.
