The Value of Motivation

The value of motivation goes beyond the wisdom of how to be successful in your job - it is how to succeed at LIFE!

As your feelings of motivation rise, you fall more deeply in love your life. Do you really love your life? Are you totally enjoying your life right now?

What do you think you need to happen to totally love your life?

Motivation, joy, love and feelings of deep inner security go together.

While many people think that they need more things, more money, more prestige, more travel to be happy, all they really need is more motivation.

Motivation is in and of itself a fulfilling state.

Motivation not only propels us to higher levels of achievement, it is a sign that we are leading an authentic life of true meaning.

For a happier self, growth in motivation is essential.

Motivation is also essential for health.

When you feel motivated your body is fully energized. Your body’s organs function at their peak. Your immune system is strong.

Knowing how to set and achieve goals is a crucial part of knowing how to be successful in life, and goals and motivation go together.

To access the power of motivation contemplate
inspiring goals and purposes.

To feel fully motivated, routinely back from the busyness of your moment-to-moment daily living to think about what it’s all for, where you really want to go in life and why. In other words, contemplate the real meaning of “personal success” to you.

Few things boost motivation like the feeling of success. When you envision your goals as already accomplished and allow yourself to feel as if you are successful right now, you feel the way you want to feel.

Another way to boost motivation through goal setting and achievement is to set goals for yourself that you really can accomplish.

The feeling of accomplishment nurtures the positive passion that spurs efforts to achieve ever higher levels of success.

If you are feeling frustrated by failure, or by a lack of progress,
try setting some small, attainable goals for yourself.

If someone can bench press 125 pounds, and you demand that he presses 200 pounds right away, that person will feel too defeated to try.

Give that person a month to lift 130 pounds and he may feel so confident that he drives himself to lift 130 pounds in a week! Continue adding 5 pounds a month to the goal. That is how to be successful and it’s a secret to intentional self-growth.

Create magnificent, even miraculous goals for yourself
to spark your spirit with motivation.

But the moment you begin feeling demoralized, chunk your goal down to more achievable step-goals.

Each time you stretch yourself enough to do a bit better, you will feel the encouragement you need to stretch ever farther.

If you feel a lack of purpose or drive, contemplate your goals in a restful way.

Just ask yourself the question, “What do I REALLY want?”

Then open your heart to sense what would feel most meaningful for you. It needs to feel important. It has to be more than the satisfaction of a superficial pleasure. It has to ignite you SPIRITUALLY to deliver the full power of your total motivation. Motivation is in and of itself fulfilling.

Learning how to be self-motivated is how to be successful.
