The Power to Succeed

You don’t have to count on circumstances to feel totally motivated, but you do have to count on motivation to achieve all of the success in life that you want.

You need to feel fully motivated to work with your full power
and skill.

Don’t base your level of motivation upon circumstances or upon how other people conduct themselves.

Raising your level of motivation is a worthwhile aim for your personal growth.

Directing circumstances with utmost effectiveness demands that you feel totally motivated.

To feel motivated is to feel happy, inspired, empowered and determined.

Motivation is your power to do your very best, and to have a terrific time doing it!

Motivation is your power to shape circumstances, create opportunities and build positive, productive relationships with others.

To raise your level of performance and to achieve all the success in life that you desire, take responsibility for maintaining a totally motivated state.

Here is an important law of success: Motivation is contagious. To be a motivational influence upon others, you need to feel motivated.

To advance your personal growth in the direction of your increased motivation, associate with highly motivated people.

A lack of motivation is ALSO contagious.

If you spend too much time around someone with a low level of motivation, with a lack of enthusiasm, with a pessimistic outlook and a critical mindset, the negativity and darkness of that person’s inner condition will drag you down.

Monitor how you feel around people, so you can recognize when the emotional drag of that person’s negativity starts wearing
upon you.

When that happens, create space between you and that person. Give your spirit time to re-charge.

Your level of motivation is significantly impacted by your thinking.

If you think or speak too much about what goes wrong, on what you don’t want to happen, on what you fear, you cause yourself to feel demoralized, not motivated.

When you envision success in life, focus on what is working and think about those you love, your level of motivation rises.

To master motivation, master your mind.

Those who justify their discouragement, disappointment and dread by pointing out problems and dangers are permitting their circumstances to rule their motivation.

They are overlooking the fact that motivation is their power to rule their circumstances achieve all they want.

You do not lose motivation because of your situation, but because of how you think about your situation.

Remain very aware of your thoughts to instantly exit lines of thinking that drain you of your drive.

No matter what you do to stay motivated, though, remember this: No one can stay totally motivated at all times.

Motivation flows in waves. It goes up and down naturally. To maximize the power of motivation, learn how to flow WITH its ups and downs.

One common mistake that people make is to drive themselves too hard when their drive is drained.

Sometimes people become angry with themselves for lacking motivation, but this just drains them even more.

Pay close attention to your mind when your motivation is waning, because as motivation diminishes we attract negative thinking. And negative thinking drains motivation even further.

To operate with peak levels of motivation as consistently as possible, stop pushing yourself when you begin to feel strained, drained, irritated or overwhelmed.

Take a break from what you are doing or at least ease up. You need to give your motivation time to recharge through rest.

When motivation returns, which it will, it brings with it the power you need to advance into greater success in life.
