Tom Cramer is Founder and Editor in Chief of Wisie, Inc with vast experience in entrepreneurship, business leadership coaching, and building successful business startups.
In 2009, Tom founded Wisie.com, the first-of-its-kind website for delivering daily wisdom through 90-second videos that reach the inbox of subscribed members every weekday. It was Tom's first step towards fulfilling what his father, Walter Cramer, had inspired him to do … and that is - use his entrepreneurial skills to reach out to the millions of people and bring to them the “art of living” - the wisdom and importance of integrity, fairness, patience, responsibility, respect, friendship, love and relationships.
Wisie.com has now built up a power-packed group of specifically positioned sister websites that deliver daily inspiration, motivation, guidance, advice and wisdom for self improvement on the three key areas of human life - success, relationships and children.
As an entrepreneur, Tom has authored and executed a multitude of sophisticated business plans for companies he started in such diverse industries as export trade (American Business Overseas, Inc.), computer software (Boris Systems, Inc.), television direct response marketing (Cramer Enterprises, Inc.), retail distribution (Hot Glove, Inc.) and consulting (The Brain Trust). He was founder or co-founder and CEO of all of the above companies.
In addition to his role as Founder and Editor in Chief of Wisie, Inc. he is currently Founder and Chairman of The Brain Trust, a twelve year old CEO roundtable peer group where members meet monthly to seek and give counsel to each other. In his role as Chairman of The Brain Trust, he has been an advisor to over 75 CEO's of Atlanta, Georgia area corporations.
Tom is a 4-time All American athlete and an honors graduate of Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan, with a BA in Marketing. A native of Bay City, Michigan, he is most proud of his role as father to his twenty eight year old daughter, Kacy, twenty three year old son, Steven, twenty one old stepdaughter, Brittany, and as mentor to twenty-four year old Ben Marchuk.

Why This Web Site? (a personal note from Tom Cramer)For the last 30 years of his life, my Father was after me to use my entrepreneurial abilities and investment capital to take his original ideas and make a huge difference in the world. I have known for a long time that my purpose in life was to make a difference in people’s lives, but I didn’t know what the vehicle would be relative to my Father’s thoughts. Although I have been mentoring CEO’s of companies for many years, my Father never let me forget that my purpose would not be completely fulfilled until I did something to take his ideas to the world.
This always resonated with me, and I trusted that someday I would be shown the way.
Every time I saw him he brought up this same subject. You see he was a high school band director. If you saw the movie, Mr. Holland’s Opus, that story could have been about my Father. He was at the same high school for 33 years. Since his students were with him 2-3 hours per day, he spent at-least 20 minutes per day teaching them what he called “the art of living”.
This is when he taught them about honesty, fairness, creativity, kindness, friendship, respect, responsibility, patience, character, emotional intelligence, relationships, etc.(the same stuff he taught me, day in and day out :).
When he passed away two years ago, hundreds of his students came “out of the word work” to write about what an amazing “teacher of life” he was. He made a HUGE difference in their lives, and I now know that I will carry on that legacy for him on a scale that not even he could have imagined.
He was so disappointed that the schools did not teach anything to do with how to live a successful life (what he called “the art of living”) ... how to have meaning and purpose in your life, how to have positive, powerful and effective interactions with others, loving and rewarding personal and professional relationships, successful careers and great lives.
He was able to teach these things to all of his students but was very frustrated that he could reach so few people. So he made it his mission in life to convince me to take these kinds of messages to the world. He was able to affect hundreds, but insisted that, as an entrepreneur, I could affect millions.
Believe it or not, he probably had that discussion with me over 200 times. It became a bit humorous as my kids would always say to me on the way to visit my parents, “Do you think Grandpa is going to talk about “the art of living” again, Daddy”?
The first 200 times I kept telling him, “Dad, I’m open to this, but I don’t know how. You want me to affect the entire world. How can I do this”? That was the question that kept playing in my subconscious mind for literally 40 years until the light finally went off in my mind.
“A Quick Dose of Daily Wisdom” delivered worldwide through the amazing power of the internet. That was my solution, and was the original thought that ultimately gave birth to this web site.
My wish for you is that this web site really makes a difference in your life and in the lives of the people that you care about enabling my Father's dream to come true.
